FDA Still Finding Hand Sanitizer Issues

Continues to find products with methanol as well as subpotent formulations.

In its Sept. 17 Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update Daily Roundup, the US FDA said it continues to find hand sanitizer products that are labeled as containing ethanol (also known as ethyl alcohol) but have tested positive for methanol or 1-propanol contamination.
